Water first.
The Adriatic below the villa is clear enough to see the seabed at four metres. Mornings are still; by late afternoon the light turns the surface to pewter.

Twenty minutes on foot along the water: a marble square, a Renaissance theatre, and a fortress above it all worth the climb before dinner.

Pokonji Dol, Hvar Town’s largest beach, is approximately 5 minutes from the villa on foot. The pebble beach has restaurants, sun loungers and water-sports facilities, while the small lighthouse islet just offshore creates one of Hvar’s most recognisable coastal views.
An archipelago, minutes away.
Taxi boats leave Hvar harbour for the beaches and sheltered coves of the Pakleni Islands. Visit Palmižana, for swimming and lunch by the water, or arrange a private boat to explore quieter places around the archipelago.
From traditional konobas to long lunches by the sea.
Hvar offers everything from relaxed waterfront restaurants and traditional Dalmatian cooking to contemporary dining in the old town. Across the water, the Pakleni Islands are ideal for an unhurried lunch surrounded by pine trees and quiet bays. Ask us for recommendations suited to your plans and preferences.

Spend a day with a local skipper, take a taxi boat to the Pakleni Islands or rent a kayak or paddleboard at Pokonji Dol. Some of Hvar’s most peaceful swimming places can only be reached from the water.
